Hi All! Happy Wednesday!!! Are any of you like me who are receiving disability cash benefits and realizing how expensive life has become and how much gas, food, insurance keep going up. Because of these economic woes I had to think about returning to work. I have been on SSDI for anxiety since 2006. I WAS TERRIFIED TO EVEN THINK ABOUT WORKING. However, with the help of an Employment Network through Ticket to Work program, I currently work part time from home while still receiving benefits. Now I am earning extra income for my family and have boosted my once low self esteem and confidence and still have kept my benefits and insurance. With my personal experience, I Do know how terrifying it can be to even consider going back to work. There are many misconceptions all over the web about working while on SSI or SSDI.. let me help you understand this great program and how you can work and not get your benefits taken away. I am in the program right now! Earning income each month in addition to my regular cash benefits which haven't stopped and still have my Medicare. Everyone deserves to reap the benefits of this great program :) I am here to help you in anyway I can. Even if our program doesn't help you, I have a list of great agencies and websites that have job listings for the disabled and can assist in employment goals. Contact me anytime : ladler@myemploymentoptions.com Blessings, Lori Adler 800-441-3114 ext 763

Hello there, I am sorry if this message is late. I did'nt realize I had a post in repsonse to my post. Hopefuly I can change my settings so I know when people respond. I dont know if you are still seeking employment but I will go ahead and provide some answers here just in case you are still looking for work. If you are already working, yay!!!!! You stated that you were disabled and seeking employment and resources. I don't know how long ago you posted this, but I thought I would provide your with some information that I have and also some links and resources to turn to. I am also disabled and receiving SSDI from social security. I don't know your situation or if you are on Social security benefits, but if you are receiving either SSDI or SSI (non retirement) benefits now, the company I work for could possibly help you find suitable employment. Employment Options, Inc is a certified employment network in the social security ticket to work program. We provide FREE job placement and employment services to disabled citizens receiving disability benefits from social security. I guess that is my first question: are you on SSDI/SSI? If yes, let me know and I will link you to our application page. we are recruiting for HUNDREDS of work at home positions right now. We are preferred partners with the major work at home companies nationwide. If you are "not" receiving SSDI or SSI benefits, our company would not be able to assist you because of the guidelines of ticket to work program state our clients must be on SSDI or SSI. however, I promised you job resources to help you. You can send an email to our help center at help@myemploymentoptions.com and an auto reply email will be sent to you with resources and job resources. Also, we recommend these partners and websites as top resources for the disabled: http://myemploymentoptions.com/resources/important-links/ I am aware of several companies that are hiring work from home agents right now. Just let me know if you are on SSDI or SSI or not, and if you are still looking for work. I will leave it up to you if you want to write back! Best wishes, Lori
